We’ll be hosting up to 30 sessions, workshops, masterclasses, panels, keynotes and state of the nation addresses across all aspects of the music industry - with a focus on creative skills (writing, performing and producing) and business skills (management, streaming and networking.) SIGN-UP for certain panels will be open one month prior to the conference. You do not need a ticket, but we ask that you keep a record of the panels you’ve signed up to. Panels TBA.

OUTPUT BELFAST EVENING SHOWCASE

Every year, we host a live music showcase on the evening of our conference, from 7.30pm - late across an array of Cathedral Quarter venues. We welcome up to 40 artists, representing a wide range of genres, to perform in a ‘music-trail’ format, so delegates can walk between venues, for free, listening to incredible talent from around Ireland. Artists TBA.

Music Experiences in Belfast

As a UNESCO City of Music, Belfast offers an array of music experiences for visitors to enjoy - from festivals to intimate gigs, music conferences and tours that offer the chance to engage with our local music community and learn about NI’s musical culture.

CREATIVE TOURS

As part of Discover Northern Ireland’s Embrace a Giant Spirit campaign, Belfast offers a number of creative tours within Belfast, including the Belfast Music Walking Tour and Punk Music Walking Tour delivered by Creative Tours Belfast. Both tours offer a unique insight to Belfast and Northern Ireland’s rich musical heritage and lesser told stories of musical legends from this small corner of the world. Guests will be in excellent hands, as each tour is led by Dolores Vischer - an expert in local music history with an unwavering knowledge of Belfast’s contemporary musical landscape. All tours can be booked privately for small groups.

MUSIC WALKING TOUR

The tour will offer guests the chance to learn about the city's diverse range of musical traditions and cultures, discovering how Belfast gained its reputation as a music city and its UNESCO City of Music status. During the tour, you’ll begin at the iconic Ulster Hall, and walk through the city centre exploring an array of music venues including traditional bars historic buildings, arenas, churches and more. Read more/purchase tickets below:

PUNK MUSIC WALKING TOUR

This fun tour provides an opportunity to learn about Belfast’s take on Punk throughout recent history. Guests will discover the role that 1970s record store/label, Good Vibrations, played in making history, and hear the music of classic NI punk-inspired acts Still Little Fingers, The Undertones and more. You’ll also be introduced to the music of current punk artists such as Problem Patterns, Tramp and Cherym. Read more/purchase tickets below:

On this journey through the heart of Belfast you’ll experience Belfast through a musical lens as you hear the stories of local artists who, against all odds, made a huge musical imprint on the world.
